#27C3 – Day 2

After staying up for like 48 hours straight i finally catched some sleep tonight. After some Dunkin’ Donuts breakfast we managed to get wired internet, and this is what the speedtest says:

Yup, that’s 80Mbit down and 10Mbit up. Or for you octet-heads: 10MB/s down, 1,3MB/s up. Now we can all leech some lolcats.

I will be playing at the lounge the next 4 hours. Listen to the stream here.

#27C3 – Day 0,75-1,00: Arrival / Hostel / Keynote

We survived our trip to the capital, and what do we get? A hostel in Köpenicker Str. 127, directly across the famous Tresor technoclub. After checking in and surviving a 10 minute walk, we got to catch some of the last available seats in Saal 1, to see the keynote.

Here are the first impressions:

#27C3 Day 0,5: Waiting for the ride to begin

I’m hanging out at mmisc in Baunach waiting for the tour to begin. Killing some time setting up a VPN tunnel for encrypting my byteschubsing at the congress – you don’t want to fuck around with unprotected internet in an environment of 2000+ hackers 🙂 Fellow attendees, you might want to read http://events.ccc.de/congress/2010/wiki/How_To_Survive for your own good.

We are planning to start at 4 am by picking up mousenray, and will hopefully arrive in Berlin somewhere between 8 and 9 am. Mate count: 2

Edit: I just saw they added me to the list at the wiki’s Lounge page, day 2 🙂 than-ku.

#27C3 Day 0 – Anticipation

Words cannot describe how much i anticipate our trip to Berlin! The BCC will open its doors at 8am tomorrow; we will depart from Bamberg around 4am, and hopefully arrive safely around 9am.

The keynote is scheduled for 11:30, so there will be enough time for some coffee/breakfast/mate. Whee!

Got my entry tickets, power strips and patch cables ready. Some nerdshirts, some underwear –  and a lot of music and my dj gear of course, as i will play a 4 hour set in the lounge on day 2, from 3 to 7 pm. Feel free to join 🙂

Idioten bei eBay

…wundern sich am Sonntag darüber, dass die Ware nicht da ist, und eröffnen einen Fall wegen nicht erhaltener Ware – obwohl die Sendungsverfolgung sagt, dass das Teil unterwegs ist. Hate!
